Last call for submissions!
I'm curating a compilation for the Digital Vomit label/collective, which - since Digital Vomit is open for everyone to join/partake - is open for submissions.
It is an invitation to create dub (or rather dubnihilism) tunes, especially going out to artists usually doing working (mostly) in other styles.
this will be a free webrelease.
here's the call on the DV-Board - if interested best go over there, register your free account and join the banter...
"Nonjah Tune"
(a dv in dub compilation)
- the focus should be, befitting digital vomit, on the "production technique" and one the way elements of dub have found their way into so many different styles.
DEADLINE extented to 5/23/2012
guidelines you should consider are:
this is not intended as a showcase for your latest dubstep tracks'' (because i think there are enough opportunities for that, and i'd rather highlight other aspects and/or a creative of the dub-influence)
make it 'experimental', try to fuse your personal style with dub… or if you're making your very own style of it already, submit a track!!
you know it makes sense...
also the title of this compilation should make it clear that if dub/reggae is religious music for you, you should probably be releasing your rockers elsewhere.
send a link to a preferably lossless file to 'hidari [at] gmx (whereupon here inserteth a dot) net'.
have fun!
